Sculpting a Script

I am very excited to present to you our first ever guest blogger, Amber Hanel. Amber is the co-founder of Sculpted Entertainment which is an independent theatre and film company here in Shreveport. They have seperated the company into several divisions which include film, theatre, educational (Inspiration Imagination), video production, and murder mystery dinner theatre. Since she doesn't have enough to do (not to mention raising a 2yr old ) she somehow got mixed up with the likes of us. Here is what she had to say about her Filmblazer experience:

Filmblazer's Friday Fail 5/8/09

Bet you thought I wasn’t going to make it in time with this post. I guess that’s still yet to be seen but it’s 9:30 on Friday so I’ve got time! Don’t mark it down in the books yet as a #FAIL. Shreveport is going slightly better than Tampa but with everything that is involved with making a movie in 2 weeks and maintaining a website with video, audio, and written content, there will always be something to write about in this post.

Official Tour T-Shirt

The Official Tour T-Shirts are finally here! They were designed and produced by Fuzzy-Ink, a company from Raleigh, NC that specializes in "mustache clad apparrel". We love, love, love the design they came up with. I mean it features the Battle Wagon! We're so glad they are a sponsor of the Two-week Turnaround Tour. The cities and dates are listed on the back. Gold for guys and Coral for girls. To get a shirt of your very own Official Tour T-Shirt here and also check out their new Nintendo Shirt!

The Battle Wagon wasn't harmed in the production of this shirt...yet...

Shenanigans from Shreveport

T3 Shreveport kicked off April 30th at the Robinson Film Center. We arrived in Shreveport the night before. We would have been in Shreveport even earlier but we accidently stopped in New Orleans for two hours to get coffee and beignets. Oops!

Tampa's Fortnight Film

“Equal Force” is the second movie made as part of the Two-week Turnaround Tour. This was our first attempt at doing an action film. Blood, sweat and tears went into the fight sequences. Ok, Anesti didn’t cry but the first two are true. We had a great time in the Florida sun and hope everyone enjoys the final product! You can watch it here.

Behind the Scenes of "Equal Force"

See all the behind the scenes footage from T3 Tampa! As Josh would say Its really good and its just so good. Watch Josh and Jamie adjusting to RV living, filming an epic fight scene, and other shenanigans from the cast and crew of Equal Force. Make sure you watch all the way til the end to catch a special performance by the Joshua J Mills. Filmblazer's Friday Fail

This is the beginning of a weekly post every Friday where we address all the things that have gone wrong during the previous week. Number one: we thought of this idea the week before the tour started and I'm just now writing the first one #FAIL. Number two: it is definitely going to be after midnght when I post this which means it will actually be posted on Saturday #FAIL. Just the tip of the

Fighting Words from T3 Tampa

T3 Tampa started off with a punch, literally! (too cheesy? I’m going with it anyway hehe) We got rolling on Tuesday April 8th at the Art Institute of Tampa knowing that our City Leader Anesti Vega would demand the movie was based around some kind of bad ass fight scene. He is a fight choreographer here in Tampa with training in a large range of martial arts styles.

RV Adventures: First Night in the Battle Wagon

Last night was the first night we'd ever spent in the RV. We left Greensboro about 10:30 and drove until about 8:00PM when we started hitting some pretty bad storms. We figured we had better stop since Josh had never pulled the Battle Wagon in the rain before.

Kessler Crane Presents T3

Filmblazer is pleased to announce the presenting sponsor of the Two-week Turnaround Tour: Kessler Crane. Kessler Crane is the perfect companion to T3 because they fulfill the needs of the ever growing film community. We wanted to align ourselves with a brand we use and love. Kessler Crane is that brand because they produce modestly priced first-rate camera cranes / camera jibs. Their products allow filmmakers to achieve their creative vision while shooting on a tight budget.

I have personally owned a Kessler Crane for around 4 years and it is one of the best filmmaking decisions I've ever made. Having the ability to shoot what was in my head helped me raise the bar in my filmmaking and attain a level of polish that I didn’t have before. This is why I’m so excited to work with Kessler Crane and together, promote new tools and ways of filmmaking.
